Looks like we have a new annual tradition in Rio Band! Last night’s show was a fun and musical scene, outdoors on campus. Great job by all of our concert band musicians, especially in dealing with the many challenges of an outdoor concert (wind, high ceiling, new acoustics, etc…). Also, Mr. Kiesner and I really appreciate the collaborative and efficient way the students cleaned up after the show. The whole night showcased the best of Rio Band. Thanks to everyone who came out. And a special thanks to the parents who staffed the food and shirt tables. Much appreciated!

Parents who will be at Playathon can pre-purchase a Fajita Dinner for $9 with all the trimmings, including drink and dessert. There is food for the musicians but if you’d like to eat dinner at the school, you’ll need to order in advance. Link to the online orders is on the Playathon page.
