Gold Band plays
- We have divided Rio Band into two groups- the Green Band and the Gold Band. Each band student has been assigned to one of the groups, and is required to perform at two of the basketball games. See the attached document for the roster and game assignments.
- All band students are welcome to play at all four of the games, but are only required at the games for which their assigned band is listed.
- If for any reason a student cannot attend a game for which they have been scheduled, they must arrange for a sub to play for them. Students may trade games as needed. Subs can be of any instrument, so a flute could sub for a sax.
- Subs or trades must be arranged in advance, and directors must be notified in advance.
- The games are held in Rio’s large gym, and our arrival time is 6:15pm unless otherwise noted. We should be done by 9pm on game nights.
