Jason Marsalis Vibes Quartet Visit

This Thursday, during 2nd and 3rd periods, the Jason Marsalis Vibes Quartet will visit Rio to perform for and with our band students. Mr. Marsalis is a drummer and vibraphonist, and is the youngest performing member of the famous Marsalis family. Along with father Ellis, and brothers Wynton, Branford and Delfeayo, Jason was selected as an NEA Jazz Master in 2011.

All band students are welcome to attend during 2nd and/or 3rd periods, but none will be excused from their classes. Teachers will use their own discretion when students ask to attend.
